February 2025

SermonSpark Premium Subscription Level

A new paid subscription level - SermonSpark Premium - has been added. This level of service provides a large increase in credits for tool usage, alongside access to our new Brainstorm Tool.

Brainstorm Tool Added

SermonSpark Premium subscribers now have access to the Brainstorm Tool, allowing them to record audio brainstorming sessions which are then transcribed and cleaned up with AI.

The resulting brainstorms can be used as input for a variety of our writing tools to provide additional context about a potential sermon idea to our AI models.

Tool Credit Cost Rebalancing

Following our tool quality improvements implemented in September 2024, credit costs have been rebalanced for all tools in order to bring them in line with LLM token usage.

Skip Video Trimming Step When Transcribing

When using a YouTube video as the source for a sermon transcription, there's now an option to skip the "trimming" step if your YouTube video contains only sermon content and not the rest of your service.

Outline Generator Tool Enhanced With Pastor Inspiration

You can now optionally include the name of a well-known pastor to draw from their preaching style when generating an outline.

.m4a Support

.m4a audio file type support is now available when uploading audio directly for transcription.

On-Demand Project Creation

Projects can now be created on-demand after using a tool. This is done via the reworked "Add to Project" interface. We hope this makes it easier to organize your tool output into projects!

September 2024

Tool Quality Improvements

Many tools underwent changes to ensure the consistency and quality of results is better than ever before.

As part of these changes, the Greek and Hebrew Interlinear Explanation tools have been combined into the Original Text Explorer tool. Similarly, the Greek and Hebrew Word Finder tools have been combined into the Original Language Word Finder tool.

Additionally, the News Story Finder tool has been removed as we were not happy with the overall quality of its output relative to a simple Google search.

August 2024

Sermon Transcription + New Reach Tools

The ability to transcribe sermons was added. Transcripts can be used with reach tools, including these three new tool offerings:
